Gusti Italia is a young brand, created 10 years ago, in 1998, by an idea of Francesco Falcone, the founder of the F. Falcone Company, and by the hand of Stefano Ranalli, one of the top-ten graphics in Italy.
The meaning of the brand is psychologically recondite, you can find it in its composition: the word GUSTI ITALIA (representing the food) is between a stylised smiling mouth and a moustache (you eat GUSTI ITALIA smiling!); at the top is a leaf that represents the naturalness of GUSTI ITALIA products (directly from the tree to your table!).
The business developed better than expected, the appeal of the brand, the design of the labels, together with the top quality of the product, attracted the European consumers. In 3 years, the Gusti Italia Olive has been introduced in Germany, France, Great Britain, Poland, Ceca Republic, Russia, getting appreciable goals also in the retailer chains, such as Leclerc, Tesco, Metro, Eldorado, Carrefour.
In 2005, F. Falcone created a second commercial office in Martina Franca starting collaboration with Italia's Co., specialized in exporting overseas and owner on Italian Supermarkets abroad. One of the shareholder is Mr. Domenico Basile, 70 years old, more than 50 in Oil and Wine business.
In 2006, Mr. Falcone bought shares of a plant situated in North Apulia, considered the best area of Italy for the crop of olives. The production is constantly followed by Mr. Fornelli, since 3 generations in the olives sector. He selects the best olives in Puglia and personally blends the different sorts of oils to get the right taste of our Extra Virgin. The production has been progressively moved to this place where all our three lines are actually bottled. Alta, Antica, Classica.
